I’m a landlord and I hate it. Get with a rental company and take percentage hit to have them manage it for you. Then rent a cute little house and get a kitten!

I left for four months and was super convinced I’d get to reenact one of those “returning soldier greets dog” with my two dogs. I got out of the car and they were friendly, sure, but about the same excitement level as if I’d been at the post office.

i was old, like... twelve and someone made fun of my purple kitten jogging suit and old person dollar store shoes. i got mad, i knew damn well my mama was proud of those shoes. I thought i was poor then, but the following year i transferred to a private school, which taught me how poor I really was. no regrets.

I’m def one of the people who will be working, I just started a new low-wage job. I plan on participating by removing myself from the economy, no gas, no snacks, no lunch out etc. I really hope this is an impressive strike!
