Yeah, you don’t seem like a troll but I’m expecting this post to bring out trolls/assholes. There are already a few really ugly posts in the greys. :\
And you’re welcome. :)
I think that’s probably one of the main arguments against it, because everyone has different ethics and moral and those are fairly subjective (and

No i’m not trolling so thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt. I don’t blame you for thinking that though. I didn't realize it was more expensive for death row than life in prison. I’ll ahve to look those numbers up when i get home.

I am pretty sure you’re not trolling and you’re genuinely asking this (you seem pretty genuine), so hopefully I’m not wrong. :)

The death penalty actually costs more money than keeping the prisoner in the general populace. If you google “cost of death penalty vs life in prison” you’ll see numerous sources saying that;

I went to school in Boston and Marathon Monday was one of my favorite days of the year. Get up early and then go to Kenmore Square and cheer everyone on.

Sean Collier is the Police Officer who was killed by the Tsarnaev brothers. He was a fine young man, and we miss him.

So very agreed. I love the Marathon—it’s my favorite day of the year, and I love cheering for all the runners. (My husband has to tear me away at the end of the day.) That he could take such a joyful event and use it as an opportunity to kill people and bring fear is just awful. I hope he’s sentenced for life without

Agreed. Throw him in the supermax prison in CO and be done with it.

I’m also a local (though not a runner), and I agree. I’d strongly prefer he spend his life in prison, thinking about what he’s done.

I am glad that the verdict tracks what my understanding is of the case. I’m a Masshole and Boston Marathon runner (who is thankful often for her 2013 injury that prevented participation in that particular race). However, I’ve never personally had a case that hit home my opposition to the death penalty like this one.

Grandiose liars?

All I could think of was this

He never had one.

Waiting for the story about Marilyn Manson getting into a fight in Denny’s...

I’m sorry to hear that. :( I hope things work out for you.

You take yourself VERY seriously, don’t you? Don’t answer that. It’s already clear. Yes. I am absolutely a bigot about fraternities. Abso-f*cking-lutely. And not ashamed one bit. I think the greek system is chock full of morons and rapists and drunkards and wastrels and rude sitches and sluts and social-deviants who

The air force reference was probably to the annual Blue Angels flying (far too low) over San Francisco.

One of the few things I hated about living in SF. The air force jackasses think they run the town during that weekend.

I could give two craps about whether or not the frats benefit.

First time I’ve ever defended a frat...but good for them.

That would be too bad since the non music/entertainment stuff is the only long-form writing they publish and worth reading.

And these types of stories explain why, when I left a $20 tip on a $50 meal, the waitress ran out the door after me to make sure I hadn't made a mistake in leaving a $20. No mistake hon. You ran your ass off for me, catered to my insane food allergies and made sure I didn't get sick, and laughed at my mom's lame
