I commented early in an article hoping I can actually find the replies if enough people stack on top of it...not being able to navigate and have discourse with the commenters [and writers] completely destroys 95% of what Jalopnik [and its sister sites] are. I sincerely hope this is fixed and just a Kinja update snafu.

Is this permanent or a temporary Kinja glitch?

This car has been “modernized” bastardized in every and all ways...”.

I was almost on board until I saw the original. The original is NP all day. This? Not only no, but hell no.

Before you vote CP, you need to know why - behold, the car in its original, beautiful form:

Not sure where that’s supposed to fit in my entertainment center but...we’ll figure that out

I always try to take a giant breath and see if I can read the whole sentence in one breath.

Jason, I love you and all, but it is not pronounced LAYGO.  It’s Lego.

Protip- Don't say protip when you're just vomiting up amateur ignorance. OEM is most definitely not fine and 700+ hp would wrap that axle and hop down the pavement quicker than you could cry about hack jobs and speed bumps. And that's plenty high enough to avoid dragging on anything unless you're a no talent mid life

Thanks. And yet some people continue to argue about things they clearly don’t understand (not you).

This is one of the many reasons why I love Jalopnik: Useful, informative comments from the community that explain things that the writer didn’t mention.

5,500 incidents out of 1.3 billion rides is actually quite low.

I’d like to know how those numbers compare with simply going outside on a daily basis. I’d wager a guess that you’re still far safer calling for an Uber after dark than walking home alone.

I feel like the voting choices would have been better as:

Doubtful. Studies show people become more conservative over time. By the time the new generations start aging into C-suites, they’ll be just as self-centered as those currently in power.

For less than a million I can have a McLaren and a GTR Alpha 16.

Retouched or not that’s a lot of scratch for a car that debuted for under $70k, over a decade ago...

Gas just sets on fire because it’s not in a pressurized tank. A pressurized hydrogen tank doesn’t even need to catch on fire to explode. The tank just needs to fail. Also I can smell gasoline leaks. If the gas tank in my car fails it just makes a mess on the ground or fills my car with flammable fumes, I can tell

Hydrogen???

Hydrogen isn’t going to happen in the U.S. Hydrogen tanks in a moving vehicle are even scarier than a lithium ion battery, hydrogen leaks out of EVERYTHING because the molecules are so small, it’s much easier to deliver electricity to the end user rather than hydrogen, and you still have to go somewhere to fuel up
