If they did offer a manual no one would buy them. People that have the money to buy these new could never be bothered to shift their own gears. New cars are made for the first buyer not the 3rd and 4th.

An Exige is just a fixed roof Elise with a spoiler and a splitter. Things you can’t see like stiffer suspension and a supercharger can be had on the Elise SC which is literally an Exige with a removable roof panel.

I think it can carry more since 300 pounds of the body is no longer there :) Just have to find something to strap the load to that hasn’t rusted away yet.

Because the GT has always been the V8 model. It’s just the way it works.

Ecoboost V6 would be fine as long as they didn’t call it a GT.

Damn, you got a great deal on that. Usually for 1500 bucks you get a half ton with 3/4 of the sheetmetal rusted away.

I was rooting for the 22 as well. I get it, I know it’s a stretch but Hendrick cars did not dominate this season like they’ve done in the past. seems like they were always looking for that little bit of extra speed the Gibbs cars and the Penske cars had.

Gibbs cars were the class of the field all season. Dare I say the underdog won this one.

Forgot to add that his first US team was Rev Racing which is the foundation of the Drive for Diversity program.

NASCAR worked with Carlos Slim to bring Suarez from the Mexico series to the US series. Without that opportunity he is still racing in the Mexico series. They came to NASCAR as a package that NASCAR had a hand in putting together.
