I just don't understand how this happened, the harder I pushed on the brake the faster it went.

Thanks for the info, It will be really interesting to see if we'll have self driving cars in general in our lifetime. What if our kid's kids have no idea how or even have a use for driving.

Can you ride in a van or car that you own with someone else driving?

I would assume that it's the same as taking a taxi or bus, are observers allowed to do that?

My 99 Durango with 76,000 miles had this exact problem. Also, same thing with my 95 Neon with 180,000 miles. My parents 85 Chevy Van blew a brake line when it was 12 years old. I never once thought to blame the manufacturer for the fact that I was too lazy to wash the salt off my cars after it snowed.

You stay Classy now Mr. Democrat. Wouldn't expect anything else from your kind.

Thanks for proving my point pinkie.

I believe you have it backwards, you liberals are the ones that demand the free handouts. I always assume those that claim guns or trucks or fast cars are compensation for having a small penis are just trying to make themselves feel like they are not alone in the world with their own tiny flaccid penises.

Someone has to ask at some point, even if it's just a casual "Hey do you want to get married" that's still a proposal. I wonder how Tim would do it, just go down to the courthouse without discussing it.

I always hear about the local stuff after it happens, I need to pay more attention I guess.

when and where was it? I saw like 5 Deloreans on I-70 between Dayton and Columbus on Father's day. They were all heading east as we were heading back home to Dayton.

sounds like a belt or pulley rubbing on something from the front end that was smashed into it.

Mom of the year award right here, Have another drink....

San Antonio is a pretty neat place to live, at least it was in the late 90's when I lived there. Have you ever been or is it just because it's Texas that it must be bad?

Yeah, that's where I messed up, I should have gone out earlier. I read the 12:11 time and thought that was the time for full "honey" but that's when the moon was full, not particularly "honey". Great pic, thanks for sharing.

The motor itself is relatively simple yes, but the electronics used to control the motor are very complex and sensitive. You have a myriad of things that can go wrong from the motor controller, DC to AC converter, regenerative braking, capacitors and on and on. It's not just a motor and a battery. One little cooling

Seriously dude, you're not suggesting the only parts to an EV drive train are the motor and a battery.

Toyota, Honda, Nissan, it's all the same to me.

It makes perfect sense, they're not going to admit a failure of something they engineered when they can easily blame it on a third parties gear box. I'm not saying it wasn't the gearbox for sure but I am saying they would never admit it had anything to do with the Electric drive that they are championing.

I can agree with that but I still think in the event of an electrical failure that they would say it was a mechanical failure since the purpose of the car is to showcase electric power.
