They offered royalty free licenses to anyone who would build stations proportional to their share of the EV market. Nobody took them up on it.

Since day 1, Tesla had offered their charger technology royalty free and has stated they would be happy to allow other mfgs to use their stations (with I assume royalties or since other $ thing - not for free).  

Gotta give props to dude for having the balls to call u up and open a dialogue.

Back in the glory days of top speed nascar cars that led to insane nose cones (aka Road Runner, etc) they didn’t have to be a stock shaped body. It was about racing cars you could buy and the companies had to build them. It was MUCH cooler back then.

This car is about one Mustang GT350 more expensive. That’s an INSANE price gap.

Its no surprise at all that a soon to be released Porsche that costs 60% more than a Tesla, before expensive Porsche options added on, is superior to to a Tesla based largely upon 2012 technology.
