The typical Harley person is not their target. Typical Harley people aren’t buying motorcycles, they already have one and can’t take it with them as they age. Harley hasn’t changed enough and this is why the are struggling.

While I agree with your first point, I think Harley is also trying to attract other kinds of buyers. New blood generally brings new money, something that Harley needs. 

The 4 door just looks awkwardly proportioned. It’s more cab than anything else. Where are the extended cabs and longbed regular cabs?
