For 35k I think I would want an actual viper.

How is this a project?
This is just overreacting and fucking someone over to make an example out of them, while the people in charge were street racing without consequence 30-40 years ago. It’s fucking stupid.
That looks stupid, it looks like an adult riding around in a power wheel. Scale it up 30%.
C4 chassis is WAAAYYYYY different than C5 junk. I agree the C5 is a pile of shit, which is why I’ve owned a C4 S6 for 6 years now. It’s extremely reliable and easy to work on, unlike the C5 garbage.
I’ve put 60k on my S6... it has had one relay go bad, the coils go bad, and the ignition switch fail. Total parts cost me under $300 to fix all those things over the course of 6 years of ownership. Just got back from a 3500 mile roadtrip with it, worked great. You’re clueless.
This thing sucks. It didn’t fit my vents at all, I threw it into the trash.

You're completely wrong. X-rays go right through carbon fiber
Actually if you are behind a 1.5-2ft thick tree, you are pretty safe. That’s where I stand when I spectate sometimes, when the idiots put the spectating areas on teh outside of corners.
This post would have 75% fewer words and tell the same story, if written by a man.
I normally don’t comment on these types of things, but war does not need to have tons of casualties anymore. Our weapons are more precise, and honestly, that attitude of yours is exactly what creates more enemies for our country. I know war and conflict is necessary, and I realize shelling a city is cheaper than…
That’s actually really cool, but also... what if it starts rusting. Holy shit. How would you EVER fix that?
Market differentiation.
I hire for exhaust work, since that shit is always crusty. I also hire for wheel bearings. I’ve done it myself a few times successfully, but one time it didn’t work out and it was a giant PITA. Other than that, I do everything myself. Once I get a more permanent place, I’m rebuilding my aircooled 911's engine.
Yeah it’s like $1-20 more, depending, never $60. I’m paying you for your time, that’s it. There’s seriously nothing hard whatsoever about ordering decent parts for your car.
Ha! Noob. I loved the physics because people like you don’t know how to operate brakes.
Doug, quit leaning on people’s car! Christ!
I do. I do everything myself except press in wheel bearings, rather have pros do that, but I bring them the knuckle.
Yes but why the fuck should I pay you $100 for brake pads that are seriously $40, same brand, same part number. Fuck off. This is why I do everything myself b
I like it. But why does it exist? For three grand you can get a 1g Honda Insight. Equal if not better mpg. Room for two. Ac. Heat. Airbags. Etc.
