So somebody bought a Tesla, it was a lemon and was in the shop for 66 days out of hte first year, and he didn't like the car or think it was worth it, and wanted a refund. Tesla wouldn't do that and ignored him, so he hired a lawyer. The lawyer got the client's cash back. Not really sure where anybody did anything

1980s Giugiaro styling, and a chassis tuned by Lotus? The Impulse had both of those boxes ticked for the 1988-1989 Models, and yet no one ever talks about them.

Porsche sold quite a lot of 914s, but it never caught on with enthusiasts or the press. Sure, the Volkswagen air-cooled 4 cylinder wasn't exactly powerful, and the styling wasn't for everyone, but it was a capable, balanced car filled with unlocked potential.

you don't hear of truck crashes because nobody cares. It happens all the time ad the death rate is 3x higher than passenger cars.

Hello....

So ugly though.

The problem with them is the cockeyed sideways driving position. I hate how my feet go at an angle to the right to avoid the wheel well.

That sucks. I'm a product designer at a design consultancy, and I always liked the cube. It wasn't an attractive car, but it was an interesting example of PRODUCT design applied to a VEHICLE. The styling elements are usually found on consumer electronics, so it's a weird mismash of industries. Look at it. It

Okay. It's still easier to avoid accidents in a vehicle with better handling, brakes, and acceleration.

It wouldn't matter. The clearance wasn't the issue, the issue was the narrow tires that sank downwards. Even if you lifted the car 12" the wheels would still sink right into the sand and do nothing.

It has a locking rear diff. The problem is the tires, they're too narrow.

The driver was speeding.

Not in America.

So inferior strength, increased rolling resistence, exposure to elements/dirt, got it, you're a troll. haha.

I've had zero accidents that were my fault in any of my cars, most of which were fast. The only issues I've had have been other idiots not driving correctly or paying attention (one rear ended me, another turned into the side of my car because they didn't realize they were on a 2 lane one way street. Idiots.)

Nothing that I know of.

For general wear items, strangely, about the same. Both cars share a chassis with a common, plebian version (regular impreza, Audi 100/A6) so scarcity isn't really an issue.

No, that's a sportback impreza. Not the same thing... but same weak ass engine. They're really slow cars... 165hp, but AWD = 30% drivetrain loss, maybe more.

Audi UrS4/S6 = way more power, way better interior, way more comfortable, way faster, just as reliable, easy to wrench on. I wanted a 2.5 RS and wound up with an UrS6, no regrets.

I love these cars, I truly do... but the price does not make any sense. It's not a nice car to be in, it's bargain basement mid 90s cheap rattly plastic. You get 165hp, which is annoyingly slow once you factor in the drivetrain loss of AWD. Yet people want 5-7500 for them, even with high miles.
