Kind of. I just think the system as a whole is environmentally stupid and not sustainable. We need to start maintaining things and getting cars to last 50 years. Not 10.

Sure, but you get the general idea.

Good. We over produce them anyway. Yeah, I love cars, but we have PLENTY of cars laying around without owners who use them. We do NOT need to make x million more EVERY SINGLE YEAR. People need to just start caring for them and they last 10x longer.

Make service mandatory so the car knows when something is wrong, then has to go to the dealer. Think of it this way... the cars would initially be expensive, but they'd be engineered to last so who cares because you'd rock a used rolls royce, instead of a base model chevy. It'd be awesome. I already do this, my 95

You'd get a used one that would only last another 15 years.

Don't make econoboxes. Ever. Just make good one that last 30 years. More environmentally friendly than constant production of disposable transportation crap.

PS: AWD Turbo I5 wagon you say? Mine:

And why did you do such a thing, if there is nothing wrong with an automatic? Surely there must be a good reason for all that work. Oh, right, it's because it's better in every way imaginable and you're an actual enthusiast.

Nah I'm pretty content with all my cars being relatively fun and stick shift. And I do all my own work. And row my own gears. You know, a REAL enthusiast.

Keep telling yourself that.

Whatever lemming. I'm sure all of us gear heads will be snickering when you turn your back after telling us how cool your autotragic transmissioned car is.

I'm thankful for my 00 insight 5spd, as it allows me to drive while basically paying nothing for gas and still have a good time:

America is finally getting a fast wagon. Let's hope more will follow. If car makers need inspiration, look no further, as these are the ten fastest right here.

These pop up ads are fucking obnoxious.

On a race car, paddles are okay because shifting violently and abruptly is okay. On a road car, they are not okay and they suck ass, unless said paddles are on a car with a prancing horse.

Other than a luxury barge, when is an automatic ever preferable? Maybe a bently? Or a cord? But other than those.......??? So the answer is almost all the time. 99.9 percent all the time. I apologize for not mentioning the .000001% of cars produced that are better w automatics.

? You ARE a true enthusiast. The chumps driving automatics are not. They're trying to be.

LOL. Okay. :)
