No they aren't. Why do they need cars with huge V8s? With all the cameras and radio equipment, there isn't really a point to try to outrun a cop car. If I was in charge I'd put them in small hatchbacks.

They aren't running the electronics when they're idling either... they're inside doing something else. And yes, I know they're on. It'd be too much to ask them to wire them to the vehicles ignition position so they'd all turn on when the car was running; far too advanced for most cops to even consider.
