LOL. Awesome.
LOL. Awesome.
That would be actually kind of cool.
Avoid dealerships.
Disagree completely.
Nothing wrong with that; nothing wrong with any of it. It just pissed me off that it's on the front page in a giant featured article, when I don't see anything here other than a young designer learning and improving. Keep on doing it.... I was making fun of Jalopnik more than your work itself. Cheers!
I got a better idea. I'll make a random shape in CAD, put it in solidworks, and photoshop it onto a race track. That should be front page worthy right? Ready, set, go!
Not really, I just don't see why shit student work with no effort in THINKING is on the front page of Jalopnik. I've seen more innovative shit come from sophomores. This is a completely random shape with a bunch of splines turned into a house in a weird location. Woooop dee fucking do.
Cuz I don't care. Design student does stupid design without much thought or experience and has no chance of being produced! With unlimited budget and no knowledge of materials or construction, I shall loft a weird surface together in CAD using some random profiles, throw in some floors and windows, and not…
This is stupid.
Pix or it didn't happen.
Air cooled 911 engines have a bunch of weird stuff though, specially because of the manesium cases on the earlier motors. You also need special tools for the cams. It's def more complex than a typical inline or v6/8/10.
I am doing this this winter. Looking forward to it, and fearing it at the same time. I've never rebuilt a motor before, but I think I can tackle it after doing everything else I've done.
I'll add one: My stupid 2000 Golf 5 spd with a 2.0. 28mpg is the best I can muster.
GTA3 for iOS. I adore the physics. Everything is just so fun to drive. The firetruck drives so firetrucky! The sports cars handle like sports cars! It's so fun to drive around corners and plow into some pedestrians. Love it.
Putting radiators in an old 911 sucks tho.
Espresso = 1st gen neon with DOHC engine (150hp). Typically, Espressos, R/Ts, Highlines, and a few others had the DOHC engine. The R/T/Espresso had the shorter ratio gearing, allowing them to hit 60 in about 6.5 seconds. They were fun cars.
