The media is left, and most people are right.

This is hardly a phenomenon that is specific to just Facebook. The vast majority of media in the United States is left-leaning and they don’t want to give you any opportunities to get news from them that has a conservative viewpoint.

It’s not simply a matter of getting ‘news’. Facebook is attempting to influence opinions as to what are acceptable views. Many people can be pressured by constantly being hit with only the “proper” (in Facebook’s opinion) information.

Hopefully folks get their news from multiple sources. Not just Facebook, or Gawker for that matter. But I suspect not.
