Tuiasasosopo reminds me of a friend of mine. I could totally see my buddy pulling this in his younger days. As a kid he always assumed he'd be famous, and told everyone so. After college he made his job sound more important by inventing titles and duties that he didn't have. Then he started creating organizations

Yup. This follow-up headline struck me as very childish, especially on the heels of really solid work. Not the best idea and certainly not helpful to the site's credibility. Anyway, should be interesting to see what happens with all this.

Agreed kletta!

I'm not super interested in contemporary art, but I also found it "amateurish". The photos were set in pretty cool spots, can't argue that, but it had INSTAGRAM FILTER written all over it. Thanks for the link to the Same Same thing, that was very cool!

She has a large mouth, too. She's soooooo mature, too, my Gawd.

After reading the USA Today story, it seems there is only one person (the uncle of one of the victims) who is able to look at the situation realistically. The rest of the victims' family members seem, sadly, happy with their settlements and plan to keep their mouths shut. It's too bad there's not an independent

AJ Pierzynski just left the Sox, and he's a firebrand who burns bridges and takes offense to being cast-off from teams personally. Wouldn't surprise me if this was the first thing he thought to do upon leaving Chicago.

"Superbowl" in the headline, "Super Bowl" in the story. Pretty sure the latter is correct when it comes to AP style. Nothing more to add from me, carry on with the discussion of Destinyschild.

I went to Wisconsin, so as a fan I can tell you with certainty that Wisconsin basketball, good or not, has never even sniffed being "watchable". I'd rather be stuffed in a cardboard box and forced to read War and Peace over and over than watch the Badgers.

I'm in agreement with you. That said, I do reserve the right to change my position someday - I'm often conflicted, because I think the word "disease" is the easiest way for NON-alcoholics to understand the condition. So I understand why the D-word is tossed around, but then again, it's not quite right. Complicated

Wow, hadn't seen that pic before. I have to admit I was skeptical of his willingness to play through a little owie. Gotta say this looks legit and the team and Ponder made the right choice.

Hiring new people is a PAIN IN THE ARSE for companies. They have to set up health plans, benefits, interviews, 2nd interviews, all of which consume time for both the HR rep and the hiring manager, not to mention training a new person once they come aboard. Then there's the fact that there's no sure thing with a new

What exactly qualifies this shot as an "amateur" image? Last time I checked not too many amateurs take 3D panorama shots from a helicopter.

Ha. +1

Similarly, why are questions about "responsibility" to provide for your family and be the bread-winner only directed at men? It just...is. Not that it's right, mind you. But I'm pretty sure this type of "garbage" is cross-cultural and is deep rooted in human history, right or wrong.
