Good'n!

Very bazaar.

Can't think of a guy more worthy of the MVP award both on and off the field. Class act.

Amen!

Say what you will about last night's result against the Packers. Did you SEE that run last night when he just trucked the Packers DB while at the same time broke another tackle, ran over somebody and kept going for 5 more yards? The game was well out of reach by that point but, oh my goodness.

I am in agreement that in a perfect world we should treat this as a "NBD" and thus not take that kind of picture. But there aren't enough women in congress, and it IS a big deal, and until it's not, we're going to see this kind of stuff. And even then it will be up to the women in said photograph to decide not to

And this is why men read Jez - a free cheat-sheet to the insight of the female mind. Egads you ladies and your wedding chatter! I can't imagine dealing with that kind of stuff and being forced to make it matter even if you don't care, picking out understated yet classy invitations and worrying about who to invite

Yup yup, it's just a personal space invasion and an example of being socially clueless. I don't think Shaq was "suggesting violence" either. I am going to watch the Vikings v. Packers game tonight with my buddies, and I'm sure one of us will say "I swear to God I'll smack you in the face if he misses this kick" etc

Well put, and a hat tip to @standenup too for saying it. Obviously letters like this are disgusting, uncalled for, etc. It's not even worth discussing.

I never liked Notre Dame, and aside from Tim Brown and Mike Golic, I can't think of any player from that university that I admire. That said, it seems like these stories always go after the low-hanging fruit - stories about the "athlete on a pedestal" phenomenon aren't new, and nothing has changed. Have you ever

I concur with the rest. Very interesting stuff. I will save this fun fact and use it in a social situation in the near future.

Yeah, I knew I'd hear that about it not being a Jez article etc. And you responded nicely without sarcasm. As for the other part, well, can't argue with ya there. *Looks at cards* - I fold.

Where's Jezebel's mocking of female profiles? I have nothing against doing this, these guys are dolts. But some of the women's profiles out there (I'm guessing) are surely equally disgusting (ie: "A man who is too close to his mother is creepy, and if he doesn't have a nice car he has no chance getting this booty')

I thought Bronson Pelletier was Canadian? Turns out he's You're-A-Peein'.

Gracias! I cheated and checked the interNET and found that Adrian Peterson has 17 career kick returns with the Minnesota Vikings for a total of 428 yards.

He's returned kicks before, I can't recall exactly when, but it was definitely during his time in the NFL with the Vikes. Maybe 3 years ago er sumthin?

Yep, it's cause you don't play sports. I don't really now, but I did for a long time and you'd be surprised. When you're 6'6" and running full speed, even a misplaced step can wreck your ankle, knee, even your back. In fact most major injuries happen on what look like routine plays (see: Derek Rose, Adrian Peterson

Yeah, what Snakers said.

JC Parks' facebook page features a comic bashing "lib celebrities" and their "Demand a Plan" stance after the Newtown shootings.....stay classy Mr. Parks!
