I wear bras at home. I often sleep in my bras because it's uncomfortable not to. My breasts are incredibly large and motion makes them hurt. I have friends and family members who are much smaller busted and rarely wear bras. There are arguments to be made about the expenses women incur that men do not but bras are

Yes but it's not an expense ground up in patriarchy but in biological differences. When we play sports dudes buy a cup and we don't. The expectation that women wear a different outfit everyday while men can wear the same shit and nobody notices IS based in patriarchy.

Bras, good bras, are actually incredibly difficult to make and design. I have tried and failed. Not saying there isn't a female mark up but for someone like me who is an unusual size (small band large cup) the difference in comfort from a cheap bra to a pricey one is marked.

I've owned 7 of all mankind, calvin klein, ralph lauren etc jeans and mine have all had pockets big enough to fit my phone. My work dresses even have pockets (tucked in where you can't see but are infinitely usable). These are my current obsession: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/kut-from-the… and yep pockets.

You're making me feel like I dress inappropriately because I work an office job, rarely shop and when I do, I do it exclusively online or at the thrift store down the block I can hop into on my way in and out of martial arts class. I'm single, but I only cook once a week, portion out and freeze everything (which is

Nurses do well. The median pay is 65k a year, and all of the nurses I know stack shifts (3 days on 4 days off). It's a good job that works well for supporting families.

Key word is *chosen* profession. Who the fuck chooses a low paid retail job? It's something you fall into, and one that has very few protections especially in comparison to old unionized jobs.

except for when i lived in countries that don't acknowledge american thanksgiving I have never worked on thanksgiving, and neither has my mom who works in finance. My friends who work for Google and Apple don't work on turkey day either. And there's a big difference between going to thanksgiving dinner, celebrating

No I'm saying your argument is EXACTLY the same as the ones that the right wing lobbed against Obama. But the same way that the right wing has an axe to grind against Liberals and black men you have against organized religion so I'm out.

You're really sitting here and criticizing a man who has been Pope for a year and change for not righting all of the Catholic Church's wrongs at once? The reason people say things like he's the cool pope is because he's taking steps in the right direction, he's a man not a wizard.

But you still have to do it in a USDA slaughterhouse. You can legally kill chickens on farm, but four legged critters have to go to a slaughterhouse and there's no guarantee there's one in that region.

Why does vatican city need an elected government? It's a religious city state occupied by exactly 13 families - who work for the vatican - and those who willingly submit themselves to papal power.

New Orleans is not a large city. It's a city whose reputation is much bigger than its physical size. Nola is only 375,000 people or half the size of say DC or San Francisco. It's a mid-size city, closer in size to say Lincoln, Nebraska (278,000 people), or Buffalo New York (275,000 people). Despite the fact that NOLA

This guy lays out a theory, and I think the "eyes look bigger" may be on point. The "wide eyed" look is super popular in China/Japan in part because it makes you look younger: http://www.asianeyelid.com/faq.html the eye makeup thing is something I've heard from a lot of women. I equated it to eye color for a reason,

Not asian but no. Not all asian people lack a double eyelid, I would say among asian cultures it's closer to having blue eyes among caucasians. It's uncommon (statistically) but not rare.

Not all alterations that happen to be in line with western culture are western culture influenced. The white skin thing predates european influence, and if you think about it europeans cherish tans while traditional chinese people almost have a violent aversion to the sun. If they were channeling western aesthetics

I don't even like gravy and I like poutine. I also think that poutine outside the context of having experienced a quebec or canadian winter doesn't make sense. You need the fat to avoid freezing to death. same with the cabana au sucre.

I like Patati Patata when I'm going Solo or Frite Alors mostly because I can have it with a maudite. That said La Banquise sells coup de grisou though it's been years since I've eaten poutine in MTL.

FUCK NO. Poutine is delicious and doesn't involve weird animal bits unless you want it to.

I love La Banquise
