This is a fair point too.  Megyn Kelly stock is at an all time low.

They might if they are limited in scope, limited in duration and come with a $69m penalty for breaching it. If the non-compete is like no national cable news networks for however long the contract was, and the payout for that promise is $69m, I’d think it has a shot. My assumption is that Kelly will not be able to

Do we know if the $69m comes with a non-compete?  If it does, it brings forward another question of whether some company paying $69m is worth a world with no Megyn Kelly in it.  put that way, it seems like money well spent.

I think many will agree that these reports are BS pieces of advocacy designed to absolve the institution and limit the findings of fault as much as possible. In other words, their “independence” is highly suspect.

I think you offered a really fair criticism and I do not really have an answer for Jessica Jones. However, two small points re Daredevil: (1) that comic book was always more popular than the other two; (2) the actor who plays daredevil is just way better at action scenes than the actors who played luke cage or iron

Wire fraud is just termed in that manner because there needs to be a basis for establishing federal jurisdiction over the criminal act in question. In this case its use of “wires,” i.e. phones and emails, as that imputes interstate commerce. It is easier to just think of it as fraud.

It looks like they only went after the direct actors. Would the testimony at trial likely sustain an indictment concerning a conspiracy charge examining institutional knowledge of those actions? probably, but there is none pending.

Yea, but that still leaves the rest of the island . . .

If its my opinion that you are a moron whose comments are a complete waste of time, and you state that you are not a moron, am I lying? The answer to this question reveals the difference between statements of opinion and statements of fact.

I did. Look at paragraph two.

Breaking: blogger gets very close, but ultimately fails to understand the difference between statements of opinion and statements of fact.

The Raiders are a textbook example of crap leadership 101. Alienate and drive away all talent to foment top-down control. The people left in your organization will be those who do not have the ability to go elsewhere. Then, bring in “our guys” to work the magic system Gruden has in mind. Eventually he will blame those

As someone who has lived on Staten Island, its truly impressive that he was unable to find enough racist pieces of something to fill the room.

Agreed. The Inspector Gadget Movie in 1999 had a lot of these meta aspects as well. Also, like, everything done by the Muppets

What happens when Kinja is reduced to Russian bots arguing with eachother?

He has an impressive collection of ugly-ass blazers

Was the a memo to see how many articles ya’ll can publish that feature some being called a ghoul today? If so, I support that.

I mean, this headline does something similar to what the article criticizes. The effect of the Elle post is to trick people into THINKING about voting, not trick them in anyway at the ballot or about the information available. So, I guess my response is: “Meh.

You have to qualify that “biggest conservative ghoul to appear in the Senate in the past 10 years” comment. does that mean most ghoulish, tallest, over all volume, or most conservative? there are a lot of other conservative senators who will feel slighted to come in second.

I feel super vindicated. I have been talking about this with my GF since Cardi’s single came out. Cardi has good comedic timing and you just change the story to her being a stripper rather than a hairdresser or whatever.
