I mean, this headline does something similar to what the article criticizes. The effect of the Elle post is to trick people into THINKING about voting, not trick them in anyway at the ballot or about the information available. So, I guess my response is: “Meh.”

Just as a general point, senators are really bad at cross examination. I do not believe they have the time nor talent to really jam up someone. For example, It does not look like they ever introduce documents to refresh people’s memory no matter how many times they say “I don’t know.”

One of the things this article misses is that the Ford hearing was the Democrats tooth-and-nail fighting. Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing was ending by the time the Ford accusations were brought forward.
