Man, it sure would be nice if you could buy direct from the factory at that factory pricing, rather than having to negotiate a higher price from a middle man who really ends up doing nothing for you other than trying to sell you rust proofing and paint protection packages.

oh man, i wish I had the new Damage estim-o-tron with the flashing graphics...mine still uses paper reels.

Sounds like what we were theorizing about the other day. This is mostly growing pains from Ford rushing to market and not properly backfilling the dealer network with parts and training.

This is what happiness looks like.

Did you see me? Yeah I’ve got 10k tonnes. Great answer

you’re not alone, i did the same, assuming it was like his other videos that summed up the writing.....we fail

Like This Old House but with cars? One vehicle a season type thing?

Congratulations, Mr. TriggerTX, on today’s COTD! I would like to gift you with an unknown kind of airplane which this lovely lady will fly to you as soon as she gets cleared for takeoff.

Whata jerk. You wanna pass use the left lane, sheesh.

I used to work in a motorcycle shop. We referred to these design decisions as the PCD (product cheapening department). Even the old triumph motorcycles (vertical split crankcase) could have not leaked oil if they’d just specipied a bit better (and more expensive) gasket material. We’re talking maybe $2 per vehicle

I generally blame it on the designer. My job is to make his design work.

Congratulations, Mr. zziro, on COTD today! I have for you a Lamborghini which this lovely lady will deliver soon. I know it’s not a Miura but maybe it’ll help until you can get your awesome dad’s Miura back. Good luck!

Sometimes, Scheisse just happens, though. For example, maybe you decide to throw a valve into your cooling circuit late in the game to solve an issue you noticed on your mule vehicles. Well, all the good spots for it have been taken by other components. The release engineers for those components don’t want you

I have worked in assembly, and I have cursed engineers...and for this I am not sorry.

I like how, outside of the set [engineers], there exists a set called [other engineers]. Like that time Jackson Pollock designed a Venn diagram. Slow clap image here, and star for your comment.

Good point...those easy transfers are really nice.
