For a new automaker (<15 years is still new), designing and producing a luxury minivan/CUV with only one other product in production, only being being 3 years late is pretty damn good.

First thought in my head,
Out of curiosity, have you ruled out buying two cars again?
Damn, you sure are dedicated. I just like snow more because it doesn’t even stick the windshield. It means I don’t have to use my wipers in most snowstorms. I really really like that.
Agreed. You too. May your travels be uneventful, quick, and devoid of any damn suicidal wildlife/terrain.
My daily commute goes from 3:30 AM to 5:00 AM along 30 miles of highway, 51 miles of interstate, and 9 miles of city roads from a city of 70,000 to a town of 800 90 miles away...in the dark.
you’re goddamn right...The glare is pretty bad. I also hate driving in the rain for THAT reason and also for windshield wipers not being able to keep up with the rainfall. I will pick snow over rain most days, unless it’s a blizzard.
You must not do much rural/highway/interstate driving at night. It’s a big part of driving in low traffic areas. Since you are driving at 60-80 mph and your low-beams just don’t reach out far enough in time for you to truly react to a deer, person, or car, high-beams come in handy.
By leaving your High Beams on, you are doing the devil’s work...That has been settled for ages, and yes, worse than all-caps.
new stealthy super-destroyer
I’ve seen high school kids drive to Prom in JD combines and tractors...so maybe?
Neutral: Prospective TDI Passat SE Buyer.
It’s unfortunate that it’s a terrible place, especially next to a pretty awesome outdoor attraction (Black Hills) outside of the West Coast mountain ranges, the Rockies, and the Appalachians... That’s the main reason I work nearby and live in Rapid. I love the Black Hills too much.
Amen. I live there. Work in Philip...But I love the Black Hills
You lucky dog...lol
Hand. The lab was too cheap to buy an automatic polisher, plus it was high variety, low volume stuff. We tried using the auto polisher down in the metallurgical department, but it was shit and sometimes made samples worse.
If I ever see another set of samples pressed in Bakelite and polished to a mirror finish, it will be too damn soon. I worked in a research lab while in college and metallurgy was a decent portion of what we did.
gotta love SD. I know town use is legal though (hell, so are ATV’s below a certain speed). I believe I have seen some out in the Black Hills, but that would still fall under your “below 65” rule, so I can’t comment on that.
I heard him click the safety every time he set it down. It wasn’t loud or obvious, but I am pretty sure I heard the safety being engaged every time.
This. I’m averaging 30k miles a year (15-19k for work commute alone) and my time scale has compressed by a factor of 3. I’m aware that I’m driving nearly 3x as much as the average person, so I know my repairs are going to pop up sooner than they normally should.
