Are sure you mean stolen? Or are they repurposed because no self-righteous BMW driver would even think about using one?
Ah, yes. Try explaining that when we burn our fallen tree pile by sloshing diesel on all sides and then lighting it. We use it over gas because it is much more stable and less volatile.
They revamped it for the Xbox 360. It has some small Call of Duty mannerisms, but I love the updated graphics, campaign, and weapons...
Don’t know about Maryland, but I bought (and registered) my truck in Nebraska. A year later I registered it in South Dakota. They have a 3% excise fee (one-time property tax) that was waived for me. However, I don’t know if that was because of the time passed, or the fact that I paid 6.5% sales tax in Nebraska.
You should just do a video on “random wild Doug sightings”, where you go around peering into windows with your Range Rover at all the CarMax places that you have been to...
I think some of my most enjoyable moments in your videos come right after you say, “went something like this...”
Good job posting HammerheadFistpunch’s guide. One of the most informative pieces that I have ever read on towing.
I think Uhaul has the same stance with Jeeps (possibly just Wranglers) for the reasons you mentioned. Also, totally agree, especially with swaying. A flatbed trailer will usually sway less than a fifth-wheel camper, due to a higher CG. It’s even more pronounced in crosswinds.
Always...it’s a pretty dang good guide.
You beat me by 1 damn minute....and I was even giving credit where its due...*fistshaking*
Two big questions:
I feel like I missed something. I just now was made aware that you also write for AutoTrader. Everything clicks into place...especially the subtle AutoTrader uses you quote...
That, plus having your fog/aux lights on when you don’t need them.
All the stars godammit...ALL. OF. THEM.
The thing of most importance that we need to take away from all this is that Doug does a damn good (or peculiar, take your pick) impression of an iguana...
Just re-read that book for the fourth time in the past six months...it never gets old. I love the humor in it.
Sometimes cash flow overrules everything else. I’d rather have 8K in the bank for emergencies and have a cheap monthly payment that I can escalate, rather than have $500 in the bank, no loan, but possibly have to sell the vehicle to meet unforeseen financial obligations (AKA: we done goofed)
True, but you can’t disregard the power of the Internet. I guarantee that if the Alaskan oil spill happened two years ago, it would be an utter shitshow as compared to the 90’s. It’s one thing to hear the stories and occasionally see pictures in magazines, newspapers, and stories; and qiute another when we can be…
