I too missed the submission thread...if only for the collective reading enjoyment, I’ll add a few of my experiences. I worked as a valet and bellman in high school and summers in college in the mid-aughts. Always in a very high end part of town, either at a hotel, movie theatre or at a steakhouse.

OK, I’ll bite. Just returned from a 2-week holiday in Australia. Half the police cars I saw were Camry’s, especially in Sydney/Melbourne.

The 6 speed is not a "unicorn" and it appeared on all of the S40/V50 T5 (turbo) cars with manual transmissions, both in AWD and FWD guise, from 2005 through the end of the models' lives. Sure, they're rare, but plenty of them around if you look.
