Looking at Crutchfield, why do head unit makers HATE VOLUME KNOBS?

Or how will we know to make a mad-dash to get the trash out when it’s garbage day?
It’s so odd that conservative places like NC, GA, and TX that hate regulations and love private property and personal freedom fume about the government but are happy to submit to the absurd and arbitrary authority of an HOA.
Brilliant idea; It may attempt to run down crowds, but will break down before reaching them.
I have a 98 Firebird and had a 2002 Camaro, and the visibility is way better than in most modern cars despite the rake. Really, the rake only cuts into how high your field of vision is, and that’s not very important on the road. The horizontal and rear visibility is great compared to 5th gen+ Camaros.
“Hey let’s make this awesome RWD platform and put an awesome engine in it and awesome suspension bits and then let’s make it ugly and impossible to see out of it and when it doesn’t sell we can just make it ugly in a slightly different way but it’ll still be impossible to see out of and nobody will want one” is an…
The order is wrong.
What a weird take. “I bought the wrong car, and every day I cheer when other people can no longer buy anything like it!” Do we not deserve the cars we want because you’re dumb and bought a car you don’t like?
Myself and several of my friends (miata people) would have considered a 4c with a manual. That was the sole dealbreaker.
This. Every argument that the power is adequate because it’s not about being the fastest is an argument against the DCT. These are cars that are about fun more than lap times, so “it shifts faster than a manual” holds no weight in the discussion.
Typically “should have bought a used one instead” bullshit, and I’m sure it’ll also be the same guy who bemoans the death of manuals and fun cars when automakers stop making them because no one wants to buy them new.
How is that not the blame of the airline? They've crammed more and more seats into a plane at the expense of customer comfort. If I'm sold something that is said to be able to do a certain thing, I am going to use it to do that thing.
I really don’t get that. I mean, the Patriots suck, but...why are you rooting against an American company that’s building the first truly innovative cars in 50 years? And why does it make you happy to see them fail?
The irrational hatred of Tesla is one of those things I find deeply puzzling. There are perfectly…
This write up gives me mixed emotions. On one hand, I’m thrilled someone learned to drive stick, on the other hand, I can’t believe Jalopnik has (or had) writers who can’t drive stick.
Mine is my Outback XT for reasons that have as much to do with practically as love. It’s quick (and soon to be even quicker), it’s fun, it’s comfortable, and critically it can pretty much every job I’ll ever need of a car. Recce a rally stage? No problem. Cross country road trip? Twice. Go somewhere with…
