To be clear, I personally think it’s, in some ways, a bit lame. But that’s just the hardcore off-roader in me. The logical person in me (who, surprisingly, made an appearance for this article) says “It fills a hole in the lineup, it looks good, it’ll sell, people don’t go off-road anyway, etc etc.”

The article misses the point a bit. Yes, men and women both know what harassment is. I suspect what explains this statistic is that a lot of men have the impression that there is a chance that their innocent behavior will be miscategorized. I believe this to be an overreaction, but I imagine that this is the reasoning…

You only know, until you say it to the wrong person. Then it’s a smear campaign to ruin your life. Some people aren’t reasonable - on both sides of the sexual divide. 

A CEO has to at least report to shareholders and a board of directors. A Union Boss has no real oversight. 

Yeah and the thing too about dues at least when I was in the UAW, they automatically come out of your check, you don’t even get the autonomy to withhold dues from the union to protest this stuff. If you do end up with back dues (like your paychecks start at a weird time and you miss a payment to them) they’ll work…
