But your assumption is that common sense is common. Not all men are harassers just like not all women would be ok making a false rape or harassment claim. But some men are and some women would.

But the mistake in your reasoning is the assumption of the reaction on the other person’s part. You may talk about your buddies boots and no big deal but some women consider ANY comment on appearance to be objectifying. You just never know.

I was impressed by his candor. One comment really stuck out to me. He said “They only way I could see a way out was to retire.” The only choice to end the pain/rehab/pain/rehab cycle was to just walk away. He sounded like he felt trapped in a golden cage.
