I was just thinking the same thing, by the time this comes out, I’ll be borderline too old to play games (just as you get older, less time, and just.... physically unable).

Indiana Jones + Star Wars Original Trilogy: George Lucas is a master of world creation and asking questions that dont need to be answered. It is incredible how he created worlds for the viewer to play in and enjoy.

I think you also miss an important point. Ellie’s surgery COULD have led to a cure, it was not guaranteed. Maybe it would have only helped them move it along.

It was just baffling that they thought they needed to explain Vicious. The anime did well because they never fully explained it. Not only that but the actor, I dont know why, but I always laughed when he was on the screen.

It tried way too hard to copy the anime directly. So many episodes were just crappy knock-offs of the show. It was actually really good when they strayed from the source material. (Plus their Vicious was ATROCIOUS and they spent a ridiculous amount of time with him)

Pretty sure they did this in Harold and Kumar 2... “Bottomless Party!”

It’s hilarious at the time that a bunch of my friends were like “why do they have modern music with a period piece?? It doesnt make sense”. And now, it’s literally required to do that (usually an acoustic version of a rock song)

So you’re saying they may have revamped the controls of the first game?!?! It is a testament to how good the story and experience of this game is that it survived one of THE WORST controls and system management ever designed. I think there’s an old youtube going down how bad the controls of the first game are.

I’m sort of sad they’re going to fix the control and interface problems of the first one (assuming).  My god, they were so bad as to be like... I dunno sort of part of the experience.  It goes to show you how good the story was in that it pasted over what just might be the worst controls in the history of 3rd person…

Movies like this make me just amazed that the Mario Bros. movie was actually made in the 1990s.

The social aspects make me laugh because I remember when the last Sim City came out and there was an absolute meltdown that you couldn’t play it offline (there were also actual issues about the servers not working but people were against it in principle).
