When I played Tony Hawk a lot, I would look at railings and stuff in the real world and find myself imagining how I could skate them. After playing a lot of Assassin's Creed, I remember sitting in a church and thinking about how Ezio could climb to the top. I've more than once wanted a katamari to clean up some room

I hadn't seen this article originally, and I'm glad to see Ghost Recon mentioned. It was a surprise hit for me, and one of the games I've played the most on 3DS. Strategy games and handhelds is like a match made in heaven, in my opinion.

Now playing

I cant speak for any other country, but when the movie came out here, the American voice-over said Laura (at 1:59 in the trailer). British accents, to my American ear, make it sound somewhere in-between Laura and Lara.

"It's 'la-ra' Croft. Ok, This is my first complaint. It should be Laura [Lore-a]. You want to say Laura, everybody wants to say Laura, and everybody does say Laura secretly. But somewhere along the line, some prick was like, 'No, it's La-ra!' Alright well I'm Ca-NAHN O'Brien."

Whoa, I'm intrigued... I'm playing through again as a male tactician and had not considered that. Thanks!

Me too! I think the context of their marriage adds another emotional layer to the events of the story. It was interesting to see what... certain characters... said in someone else's game at the end.

Ha! That's the attitude I'd have too, were I Samsung.

I rarely use my Note2 for phone calls either. People say it's so big to hold to your face, but phones used to be big! It's not that bad.

Well put, Sir Charles

I have a Note 2, I love it. I agree that it was big at first, but now when I see other peoples phones, I'm like "How do you see anything on this? It's so tiny..."

I made a female tactician and married her to Chrom, so... yeah. Lots of feels at the end.

So, Don Mattrick looks like Tom Cruise. Confused me there for a minute.

"Whatever launches in 2013 or 2014 or 2015, will never beat a PC again."—Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek, talking about the reasons why a console will never be able to outperform a high-end PC.

I agree that if this guy was so successful at breaking the security of all these companies, he could have been an amazing consultant.

That is awesome. I think little things like this speak to the quality of the game.

I should be more clear. I care what it looks like, but that's not why I made the comment originally.

Dude. I totally care. I am 100% with you on this. I even heard a financial fellow give this reasoning for why games are a great entertainment value. I can't buy as many games as I used to, which is why I got GameFly. I realized, from an entertainment $/hr value, it was a steal. I play more now and pay less.

Thought you'd appreciate this chart that illustrates your point.

Right? A biased complaint about how it was biased.

You are correct, I have not. But, I also think PC vs. consoles is sort of an apples to oranges thing.
