Bottoms Up!

A lot of drivers get premier rides in NASCAR or Indy racing, that doesn’t make them stars though. She has one win to her name in almost 20 years. There are tons of guys with similar records, only no one knows their names, because 1 win in 20 years does not make you a star with name recognition, unless you’re a woman

Right, I wouldn’t want to be compared to an average driver like Patrick if I was just getting started in professional racing. I mean, is there a QB who wants to be called ‘the next Joe Flacco’?

These are not bad goals for a gossip website; in fact they’re what you should expect from any good rag worth its weight in dick pics.

For those of you who have been clamoring for some gender parity (writer’s note: no one has asked for this)

You can’t compare The Sopranos and The Wire in terms of being underrated. The Sopranos (rightfully) won a shitload of awards, Emmys and Golden Gklobes among them, The Wire had a total of two (2!!) Emmy nominations for writing and no GG nominations and that was it. Deadwood had a few wins and more nominations for both

I wouldn’t want to be with a woman who’d casually tell the world how surprised she was about my abilities as a father. It’s both insulting and demeaning at the same time. I get that vibe of disappointment from Clooney’s response (“She said that?” he asks. “Really?”)

Guys like him - Dudes that get arrested when drunk and need get told to take time off work.

Hey Dr. Phil, how can you know “guys like him”, when you “barely know who this guys is”?

People in glass houses....

Wait, so coming back from a stress fracture, an every day occurrence in the life of a pro athlete, is more admirable than coming back from a violent knife attack, leaving her traumatized and in doubt of ever being able to use the injured hand again, let alone being able to play competitive tennis ever again? Um, not

I always thought ‘colonoscopy’ was the double-c word.

why should this prick be able to get another job

Jesus F. Christ, are you people unable to read properly, since you’re at leats the third commenter completely missing the point? The op suggested they should never find ANY work again, I opposed that thought. That doesn’t mean they should keep their current jobs. Of course they should get fired.

Agreed, obviously.

What are you talking about? I never said they should keep their jobs, I just replied to a commenter who suggested they should never ever find any other employment again (“...and unable to find another job“). They should be able to work again, just not in law enforcement.

I agree, but what has this to do with my comment?

That was an extremely dumb comment.

Initiating laws isn’t synonymous to passing laws. The Clintons were in favor of mass incarcerating minorities and keeping gays in the military in the closet (DADT) and the Republicans in congress were sure willing to help them achieve these goals.

I dunno, maybe some time before there was a SC decision, before public opinion had been clearly in favor of gay marriage and well before she started her presidential campaign. That would have helped not making it look like the calculated move it was, just like her new found love for racial equality and feminism.
