I’m taking that with a grain of salt.

Will the sequel be about battling WART? or will Nintendo keep ignoring the amazing SMB2? I don’t care if it’s really Doki Doki Panic. It’s charming and fun af and one of my fav Mario games of all time.

Okay now I am finally starting to wonder if it’s an industry wide agreement to make this movie out to be the antichrist. I’ve seen plenty of it so far but now it seems like it’s trying to get in your face how awful this film is.

I thought all of the voice acting was good, no-one “phoned it in”. Rogan as DK actually WORKED. It was a really good casting, along with Day as Luigi and Pratt as Mario. I thought Pratt particularly did a superb job, making the Mario voice his own. If anything, Emmit from The Lego Movie is more of “Just Chris Pratt”…

Eh, probably the safest way to respond to an angry contingent of folks on the internet. Also, the more previews I’ve seen, the more the voice has grown on me.
