While in the Navy in 1975 on WESTPAC, we conducted some manuvers in the Sea of Okhosk (sp)Alone....with one UNREP from a combat stores ship and helicopter for the Russians' benefit....taking on missles, 5 inch ammo and fuel.

I was a crew chief on F-4Cs and several years ago while at an airshow at NAS Oceana, I got to go aboard a B-52. The crew chief and I were talking about the AF and aircraft and he brought me up to the cockpit for a look . I have always loved the B-52 and this was quite a thrill.

Many years ago I was a USAF F-4C crew chief while stationed in England and flew in the back seat on a range mission while TDY to Sardinia.
