no lie, i had a weird dream last night with some kid who wanted to download Bolt. I don’t know what this means.

No one thinks of Disney’s Bolt movie.

Brian, Brian, Brian...

Writer had a boner for timeskips.

That's cool and all, the good news is you don't have to play this. I don't see retro style as a trend, I see it as a stylistic choice that adds variety to the kinds of games we play.

While this is true, I still don't think that aesthetic works here. The cold detachment from his humanity is part of what makes his character arc so compelling. The more mechanical he looks, the better.

I agree. It makes them look incredibly generic. I really like the Episode VII redesign of the stormtrooper armor, though.

I dislike the faux-musculature. Remember, he is basically just a torso. Legs, arms, both gone from the lava. Any hit of muscle there just makes him look too organic. So that exo-skeleton look would be better served as an actual just skeleton, almost Terminator status.

These are really awesome but....

I can't get into it. Part of what made Darth Vader so iconic was his very robotic design. Making him look like a slick superhero (supervillain?) breaks the motif a little too much for my tastes.

Um, you'd enjoy Star Wars if the costumes were marginally different? That seems remarkably stupid.

I don't really see a problem with that Batgirl armor... I mean, it's no more ridiculous than Nolan's Batsuits with armored pecs and abs. It registers as normal in the context of dudes dressing up as bats to fight evil clowns and whatnot.

I kind of think Batman suits needs to move away from the motorcyclist outfits now. I just want a new take on it already. Batman himself looked goofy at times with his bicycle outfit in Nolan flicks. Especially during brightly lit scenes. I kind of want an armor suit like in Arkham games or rubber/cloth combo like in

Not feeling it. Part of what made AoT so disturbing was how ordinary it looked. Most of the action takes place on bright sunny days. The dark overcast look just makes it more generic. And the monstery looking titans are never the scary ones. It's the ones that look like normal people that are the freakiest. The horror

you are defending DBE. take a minute to reflect on that.

They're eating her ... and then they're going to eat me ... OH MY GAAAAAAAAAWWWWDDDDD!!!!!!

Eh. There's such a thing as sticking too close to the source material.
