The only one I can recall off the top of my head - and I just saw my friend play it, I didn’t own it myself - is No More Heroes.

I suppose the reason the animations are that way instead of showing a ‘real’ transformation is because they’d end up looking exactly like the toys which aren’t exactly impressive-looking.
Wii U, where the most fun it provided me was Assassin’s Creed 3, played Smash Bros when that came out and then somehow lost the damn thing around 2015. I found it just last year in storage.
I like Animal Crossing I don’t like politics STOP making everything political get rid of everything I want everything to be gone except me.
Looking forward to getting it! I honestly never expected anything revelatory about the story, I’m just happy you can play as new Zelda characters.
Donkey Kong is the fuckin worst for this. I love it, but I hate it too.
I’ve only played Blaster Master Zero, the Switch remake. It’s great! Haven’t played it in ages but it makes more use of HD rumble than any other Switch game I’ve played. Got stuck on a giant crab boss a couple of years ago and just haven’t played it since. Will get back to it some day....
I’m having flashbacks to letting Quiet do all the work for me in MGSV missions...
I’m gonna say Octopath Traveller if only because the writing made that game an absolute chore to progress through.
Love the battles, music and the look. But the writing - jeezus.
Being British - and at the risk of validating the stereotype of my fellow countrymen - this is all fine.
Other than set dressing, it really isn’t like Breath of the Wild gameplay at all. The BotW map is now a menu where you upgrade characters and buy things. My brother was disappointed it wasn’t enough like BotW.
I had to stop watching a play through because those flashbacks just got to me. I wasn’t scared I just got too sad.
Whatever it does to the BotW plot, I honestly can’t care and I’m grateful for that.
Even if it’s labelled canon it’s just a daft musou spinoff and to be treated as a fun novelty.
I really like the first Squenix Tomb Raider, but the original Lara is truly iconic.
It looks really cool. Just not-that-price-cool.
Buncha dickheads complaining they’ve “taken holiday” like that’s now a major burden to have lol
Silent Hill 1 demo that came as a pack-in with MGS1. I was 10, and absolutely not ready for that.
The blood stains getting larger on the floor and the freaky industrial music starting as you make your way down that alley. And then to find the mutilated remains on the fence.
I’ll pick JRPGs mostly for the cool monster designs.
This looks great; absolutely my kind of game and general vibe.
On rainy days I listen to “FREE 5", from Shenmue 1. It encapsulates the feeling of wandering about in the rain (as opposed to being trapped inside on a rainy day) so well.
Art is really hard, basically.
