I think it look neat, but dunno how it’d affect gameplay. Those shafts of light through the trees really obscure what’s behind them and I feel like that’s gonna lead to some awkward moments.

Oh man, I thought I recognised that atrium with the shuttles and aircraft hanging up. I went to the National Air & Space museum in 1998 to see their Star Wars: Magic of Myth exhibition. Good times!

I’ve been lucky in that all my housemates have Switches too, so I haven’t had to share. And of course, due to lockdown, won’t have to for a long time. Would rather just wash hands thoroughly before use.

Honestly I was SO impressed with this bit, and for the first two weeks of playing the game (it honestly feels like it’s been out for maybe a week to me) this was definitely my favourite part.
I just love the details like the fire hose hatch in the wall, and the janitorial shelving. Just weird little details that make

I had the original bendy Violator and Clown figures from my local corner shop, weirdly. Had no idea at the time what Spawn was but the figures looked cool.
It was a couple of years later when I realised they’d made leaps and bounds in sculpting. The cyber animal ones were new at the time.
Then, a while after that I

Oh hell yeah I’m down for this. Hiromasa Ogura’s work is haunting.

My brother still says this to me occasionally out of the blue.

God I resented this game so much as a 12 year old. They played me like a damn fiddle!
Great write up though! I realised, years after foregoing the chance to play anything up until the Phantom Pain was because of 2. Even though I’d learned to appreciate it during that time, I’d forgotten it was the cause of my

Pray for People & Peace!

Oh jeez. Bet it uses all the eggs too but that means I have to keep going to islands just to get those damn stone ones!

Is that the eggshell hat? There are several different flavours of em. I’m basically collecting as many eggs as possible and treating the recipes like a checklist so that I can get it all out of the way and then just try and enjoy the rest of the game again!
I don’t mind keeping all the weird egg shit I make. I might

I’m literally the only person who went “oh boy look at that BUNNY BED!” and then proceeded to roll back and forth on it under the shade of a cherry blossom tree.

But yeah, the intrusiveness of the eggs is a pain in the ass. My friends were out there catching oarfish and I tried but now it’s just eggs.

Can’t believe I haven’t seen reference to it as C-Virus until now. It’s very Umbrella.

As soon as I saw him I was unsettled. Five Nights at Freddy’s in this game? No!
Robbie the Rabbit, though. Hadn’t thought of that one but it’s very apt!

He’s a genius and I’ll sadly never see Tom Nook the same way again.

Slightly controversial opinion but I didn’t think Odyssey was all that (with the exception of Bowser’s Castle which had the fun woodpecker bit). I’d love to get these for the Switch!

A holy grail Mario would be a new Super Mario RPG for the Switch.

It’s the FOMO that finally caused me to enjoy this game a little less this morning. I saw that my housemates had gotten a ton of crazy stuff already, and so I spent the couple of hours I had just treating everything like a check list. And that’s no good!

Ah, the ones I’ve had with lumps (and this is consistent!) have always been in restaurants. I dunno whether it’s sugar lumps or something but I’m not a fan of that.

Pancakes. I like waffles but they’re more of a pain to make and they get those crunchy lumps in em that aren’t so great. Granted, they’re better for storing syrup. But if I’ve got my own squeeze bottle I can just keep applying syrup to the pancakes.

Mine is “Saudade” (pronounced sow-DA-jee, I think). I’m not Brazilian/ Portuguese but I love the word and what it describes.

Had the game provided the number of characters, I’d take “Outer Heaven”.
