Jupiter pulls asteroids from the belt and flings them into the inner solar system.

I think we will have bigger and bigger aircraft, as the global population increases. It’s almost a given. But I think it’ll take a while, the A380 is too big for its own good IMO (or, more accurately, has too big a wing for its own good- it’s designed for the larger, and hypothetical, -900 model).

I just cant stand people gloating “I haven’t used cash in years” like its some dam award.

The convince of the card has literally taught are brain to purchase more without penalty. When you use cash, the pain sensory areas of the brain light up. When you use a card, no such signals arise. This is the primary reason I have switched back to cash for a majority my daily purchases. Monthly bills ect. still

people who don’t use cash are becoming the new Vegans/Crossfitters/people who don’t own TVs/Atheists. they just can’t WAIT to tell you about it

There’s lots of good places to use cash, like at the bodega that charges a fee for a candybar, or especially at the farmer’s market and for cash tips. A $1000 limit wouldn’t limit me much, of course.

I always try to bring cash to bars and restaurants. Your server/bartender will greatly appreciate it as they are taxed at a flat rate based on just sales as opposed to the total including tip. Plus, you can use cash as your “It’s probably a good time to call it a night” barometer. Cards at a bar can be dangerous.

I use cash for the vast majority of my transactions. I do it, primarily, for two reasons:

Pesky thing when you live near the poverty line, gotta have lots of money for a credit card or bank account.

Given your past articles, I figured you’d have to piss on her a bit. I, for one, loved her work. I don’t really know of the controversial part except on this site... and linking to your own articles for proof is a bit un-journalist-like. She got commisions, she designed for them. Yeah, the economic realities didn’t

But getting the seeds out of the permagranate is such a pain in the ass.

Just what I wanted to write when I read the headline. DO NOT put railroad ties into your home...

The cited source, Digg, also says it’s a railroad tie. The lesson here is NEVER use Digg as a source.

Going to the youtube link, in the details it says specifically do not attempt to use a railroad tie to recreate because of the toxic fumes.... gawker:idiots smdh

Thank you! Came to make this comment. They are good for flower beds...and that’s it.

A railroad tie is typically not something you want to reclaim for residential use, especially for furniture. They are treated with creosote and you don’t want that shit touching your skin for any extended period of time. They ARE NOT ‘perfect’ for use as furniture.

As a former Earth scientist, watching a series of complex ocean-atmosphere-biosphere feedback loops rev up in real-time is fascinating. As a human whose prospects of escaping to Mars are slim to nil, it’s terrifying.

Why do people always feel the need to say this? Often it’s not even accurate. Do you guys forget that Android wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for iOS.

I’ve been Jailbreaking for around 8 years and the only reason I still do is for Kodi and My Wi. I’m strongly considering getting out of the game completely, though. Battery life is awful, performance stutters, and you have random crashes. And with BiteSMS being non-existent on iOS9 I have even less of a reason to
