It really seems to be 6 of one half dozen of the other. Airplane needs a long stretch of flat ground to land, but has 60 miles to find it. Helicopter needs a very miniscule patch of flat ground but has about 60 feet to find it. Neither seem ideal, but I’m not sure one is necessarily better than the other.
