I love my 2015 Odyssey. It does everything and more except one thing: it does not tow my small travel trailer so well. We’ve towed that trailer with it all over the place but this last trip the tranmission overheated, so we now will no longer be towing that thing. But otherwise, it does everything we ever wanted with

I truly lament this, but at the same time, there’s nothing I would ever give up manuals for except, oh you know, saving the planet! It’s a necessary change and with so many people hooting and hollering about much less, I’m not going to make this my last stand for anything.

But I hope to grab a used manual

The combination of violence and pettiness of this is incredibly impressive. This is stuff I daydream about: petty revenge. Then I forget about it in a couple of days. If I could only borrow the gene this guy had for seeing things through without getting the “violent revenge” part of it as well.

I also want to know,

The actual answer is climate/long term weather patterns.

I’ve seen articles that discuss that even when they are available, they frequently do not work, or they do not charge at anywhere near their max capability, or you literally have to stand there and tend to the charging because for some reason just leaving the plug in and walking away does work either due to problems

I feel the same way that you would feel that doing anything to make it remotely more difficult, more expensive, more stressful for families/those with young children to do anything is anything less than equally morally repugnant.
I continue to be shocked that people who wouldn’t dare be racist would be profoundly

Musk will have to sleep with so many peoples’ wives to distract everyone.

It is my understanding that Electrify America does not support 800v charging pretty much anywhere, so those numbers at least are not accurate.

oh, don’t worry, tons of sites did the same thing, calling it “two planes collide in Miami”.      I’ll go hide on reddit now.

you don’t have to have much devotion though.... the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica hardly had an active fanbase before it came out and yet there was like “oh no’s! Starbuck is (supposed to be ) a MAN!!!”

Hey, Roddenberry was always about diversity: his TOS universe was sprinkled generously with young, hot women of all races demonstrating that in the future there would be a shortage of clothing for them.

a lot more greenhouse gas emissions.  yay, just what we need to throw away our money on

I don’t support the banning of private jets or other aircraft. I do support calling out people for doing repeated 3 minutes flights, however.
Climate change needs low-hanging fruit, biggest bang for the buck changes that impact the highest sources of Co2 emissions first.    Commercial/private aviation is going to take

YOU knew getting on the bus while Black meant YOU couldn’t use the front, but YOU chose to board the bus knowing full well that you couldn’t sit in the front.

They created a scenario that the airline deems as appropriate when any reasonable person would conclude otherwise.

I think that may depend on the airline.   Basic economy on some is the far back of the plane with worse seats, worse pitch, etc.

Yes, it in fact it very, very much does, as a parent it is my legal responsibility to care for my child, but if an airline decides to physically sever the reasonable ability to do so, then they are legally responsible for all of the consequences that ensue.
Plus, one posted video of me calmly requesting to sit with

You’re behavior, IMO, was logical.  It was the airline (and apparently your job) that created the situation and they were fully aware of it.  The blame lays entirely with them.

the “basic economy” section is what this policy is referring to—where you get a cheap seat by giving up the ability to choose one. One of the ways they basically blackmailed families into upgrading was by saying they might be split up. In practice I don’t think this was happening frequently, but it was a possibility.

charge back on cc, done.
