Oh come on!  This is what the slides are for guys!  Jet Blue has a history of this.

Not sure I have a horse in this fight, but I do wonder because part of the point of moving the time around is to give a bit of extra daylight during the morning rush for part of the year as the daytime wanes. I can’t help but think that there’s some offsetting data here on lives saved vs lives lost over that.

Since I

TBH, the casually religious might, but those who are serious in their faith study will know better.  Sadly, most people are in the former category.

It’s ok, he left us plenty of scripture to quote.   Kind of predicted a lot, sadly, that guy.

apparently wouldn’t be the first time if certain texts that the governor subscribes to are to be believed literally

the Roman one, of course!

only applies to the plebes, right?

Not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord” will enter into the kingdom of heaven, as they say.

As someone who is religious, I generally live by the tenet, “God helps those who helps themselves.” I mean, there are caveats to that, but this guy is more about political grandstanding. What he’s really saying is: “let the corrupt be corrupt a little longer, then we can curse God and die”.

I owned a yellow beetle in college... 1974 beetle that I paid $400 for and it had a piece of wood for the passenger floor pan, but I loved it.

or son of Delorean: Cybertruck!!

up until recently Volvo offered a bright red option for a lot of its cars because that color was popular on its wagons in the 90s. But as noted, the problem with me is that most automakers offer a decent palette of colors, but on “average” models, we get very crappy options. After mistakenly buying a metallic gray

my contention that I wish Musk would focus on SpaceX, where he seems to be his best self.  Tesla is fine, doing fine, and will probably do well if handed off to someone more operationally oriented and less showy at this point.

Dunno. I’m pleased to see more EVs. I need a tow vehicle though, so a truck/large SUV EV/PHEV that can tow. If Tesla can deliver a 500 mile range Cybertruck, I might be interested despite its ugliness. If RAM puts a range extender in a 400 mile range EV pickup, which it suggests it might be doing, I might be all in on

so, for example, me?   I have a 19 foot trailer I take everywhere, including to a ski resort last week, where I did in fact not use my A/C.

between Austin and Carlsbad it’s also possible to find yourself short of a gas station if you’re not careful.

It is an idea that seems both awful and genius at the same time.  I wonder if any examples exist today.

On one hand, I don’t care for it. On the other, it’s the only truck promising a 500 mile range option. If they deliver, and that as you know with Musk is a very, very big if, I might be on board. I can stomach a lot of ugly for a respectable range because if I buy a truck at all, it’s to tow. The only other one that

I remember as a kid my parents looking at these on the lot, but they were out of our range and we bought a conversion van instead.

That said, I have seriously thought about buying one of these to renovate, and IMO, if there were an RV that could handle an EV conversion, this seems like one of the better candidates.

I liked these when they were sold for a year or two:
