I think the show is better science fiction then comedy and I would also say that it’s like putting our modern day people on a starship in the future kind of like Galaxy Quest. I like the stories but not necessarily the characters.

IMO though technically not a movie, I still think HBO’s Band Of Brothers was the best war movie so far. While Dunkirk was visually stunning it was emotionless, bleak and depressing. Saving Private Ryan was my second choice.
