I don’t think US policymakers are pushing for a conflict between China and Taiwan.  But they have to face the reality that the possibility of a military conflict between them has escalated precipitously recently and they need to plan accordingly.

Both the ad embedded in this article and the slightly different one linked on the title gif feature no instances of Davidson talking with his mouth full.  I don’t see anything “disgusting” (assuming you don’t find the concept of eating Taco Bell at all disgusting).  What is the controversy?

Keep in mind, apple likes to sell old iphones as new with lower prices for 2 years after the latest iphones come out (this year, they are selling iphone 14's, 13's (and mini’s) and 12's as new).  As it is, if/when they update iphone’s to usb-c next year, they won’t be able to sell iphone 14's in 2025 like they

Not sure what you mean by failures.  The movie was awesome, and I believe it did fairly well financially.  The animated series was quite good.  I expect this will be pretty good.

Barbarian was ... fine.  Certainly wasn’t anything to right home about, or worth the 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.  I’ve seen worse, but I’ve seen far better.

The character designs definitely caught my eye.  In that they look horrible, seemingly straight out of a 20 year old video game.  Just awful.

Yea, that’s what I know him from.  It’s a shame.

How do you have a series in the Orphan Black universe without clones (that’s certainly what it sounds like from that description)? That would be like having a superhero movie/series without any superheroes. Utter madness!

But there’s another factor here of the monks on Boreth. Admiral Pike says that they were giving him a chance to reason with his younger self, but if that didn’t work, they weren’t going to just let him change the future. Who knows what time travel shenanigans could have resulted in a time war between Klingon monks and

I wouldn’t go as far as saying that it defies all logic.  I was thinking along similar lines, that if he just made different decisions now that he knows how disastrous going with his first instinct went, he could have obviously had a different result.  He doesn’t have to just completely accept his fate.

The accelerometer doesn’t say anything about which hand is holding the phone.  That’s the innovation here.

Nope, Gizmodo has it right.  Pixar has said this is designed to be the precursor movie (Star Wars style) that was then adapted into a kids show, which the Buzz Lightyear toy was based upon.

It’s really cool that their doing this. Undoubtedly.

Of course not. But the software shouldn’t break if the file is actually of the file type it is supposed to be able to handle, but the extension isn’t there.

How does Lower Decks fill the void better than Prodigy? There really both quite different from traditional Trek, but for my money, Prodigy is a bit better, on average, if for no other reason than Janeway.

Going just from the description, this isn’t another “AI is evil and will enslave/murder/doom us all” story.  The AI itself is under attack.  It doesn’t look it is itself evil.

Me three.  That would have been awesome.

Not to mention, I’m hoping this means that that a certain someone is actually revealed as Black Panther... Shuri!!  That would make sense and be awesome!

Sorry Zach, but the Mini is too “mini” for me.  It sounds like I’m not alone...

CNN+ doesn’t include the CNN channel.  So cordcutters probably aren’t going to be too interested.
