Hate the stock exhaust on mine, but to cheap to spend money for sound.

Likely will consider Cosworth stuff for my BRZ once they release pricing.

That thing is quick when you can put power down, it would eat my BRZ in a straight line.

LOLed hard.

160 may not be available in Canada yet but many other Caterhams are.

Mine is manual and its actually rated as 6.6L/100km up here in Canada.

The fuel economy really isn't that bad, I recently averaged 7.1L/100km travelling at 125km/h on the highway with 10-20 short blasts up to 150km/h.

Yes there is a update that "helps" but it doesn't make it perfect.

I am interested in the Golf R not the GTI and I live in Canada not the USA.

Most likely will work, however I don't think its worth messing with this one as it will likely be upgraded to something else within a year.

Would be absolutely awesome with a bit more power and some larger brakes.

That would be my choice if I had 100% say in this but that's not the case, the other half wants something German again :P and thats where the Golf R comes in.

Forester Turbo is not available in manual since 2007 or something so thats out, and the N/A version is barely any faster than the Crosstrek due to extra weight.

No I drove it for about 10km but didn't get a chance to drive it at highway speeds so didn't realize just how underpowered it was when loaded up. I think it would be fine if they put the FA20 out of the BRZ into it, that extra 50HP would really help even if theres no more torque. I find my BRZ actually exceeds my

Not really, it would be nice to be able to have 4 people and gear in a vehicle and not have to be flat out in 3rd gear going up hills on the highway.

Ours is a 5 speed I would never touch a CVT. Squeeks and rattles everywhere that started around 8000km and even the finish coming off some of the plastic panels (no we dont use heavy cleaners on the interior). Load it up with 4 guys and gear for a trip and it will struggle to reach 100km/h in 16 seconds and will

Totally under-powered for anything other than running around the city. Can't turn traction/stability control totally off which can cause problems in deep snow. Suspension is far to soft to take heavy loads and moderate cornering, brakes are underpowered in the mountains, and the interior is spacious but materials

Still waiting on this to be announced for Canada so we can get rid of our god awful XV Crosstrek.
