Mine is manual and its actually rated as 6.6L/100km up here in Canada.

The fuel economy really isn't that bad, I recently averaged 7.1L/100km travelling at 125km/h on the highway with 10-20 short blasts up to 150km/h.

Yes there is a update that "helps" but it doesn't make it perfect.

Not really, it would be nice to be able to have 4 people and gear in a vehicle and not have to be flat out in 3rd gear going up hills on the highway.

Ours is a 5 speed I would never touch a CVT. Squeeks and rattles everywhere that started around 8000km and even the finish coming off some of the plastic panels (no we dont use heavy cleaners on the interior).
