That $3k iPhone argument is baseless and tiresome. Apple builds the phone there because it’s cheap for them to do so. Apple charges $1k for a phone because people will pay it. No sound business has a set percentage of profit margin, then charges a final price based on such a formula.

At least that would make sense- it is a very useful metal. Right now our ‘precious metal’ is virtual play money that some jerk claimed to have ‘mined’ in his mother’s basement. The ancients should be laughing at us.

Because they’re forward looking designs.

The views I’m espousing reflect the reality that 2/3rds sex workers are sexually abused as children, 2/3rds have PTSD, depression, struggle with drug addiction, and nearly half attempt suicide. It’s the most dangerous job for women by far, sex workers being 50 times more likely to get murdered than women who work any

I’m not harming anyone with my opinions. As long as sex workers allow themselves to be treated as objects for consumption, to be sold off to strangers and used for sex, they will be put at a much greater risk of violence and other problems. Buying women for sex encourages men to view women as objects to dehumanize and

Exactly. It’s no wonder sex workers struggle with STD’s, depression, PTSD, and suicide. They are putting a price on their worth as human beings and subjecting themselves to some of the most degrading and depraved activities. Sleeping with scumbag men for money instead of fostering healthy relationships with sex

Perhaps if hookers made better choices in life, they wouldn’t suffer from depression, ptsd, herpes, and suicide.

How to improve Tesla build quality.

Good thing its a free country. I can be a young professional in my truck and you in your Tesla!

That carbon fiber bed sure looks and sounds (from the engineer explaining it) A LOT more like plastic than carbon fiber. More like nylon with carbon pieces in it.

Why was a review even published from a major paper by a person with a deposit on the vehicle in question? Even if hes being honest it taints the review. Arent there bosses that are supposed to stop this kind of stuff.

Ohio. Utah. Tennessee. Indiana.

I didn’t want to ruin my reply but yeah:

Ignoring Comtndrvr’s excellent rebuttal, are you somehow counting more than 4 unique letters in “Alaska”?

Don’t forget the massive environmental impact of both creating and destroying the batteries.

Ohio.

How many life does it take before Tesla change the “auto-pilot” marketing gimmick to something more realistic, like “souped up cruise control”?

Fucking this. Even a half assed FMEA should have caught this.

Speaking of show stoppers: Tesla is basically using its drivers as subjects in human experiments. They don’t seem to have an Institutional Review Board (a search of their Web site doesn’t turn one up). My experience with IRBs leads me to think that the roll-out of Autopilot would have been very different if the

So let’s say TM is correct here and the motorist didn’t take the wheel as instructed. Well guess what that should be? That should be part of the FMEA. Since the severity of such a thing would get the highest (worst) score it should have been addressed. The probability wouldn’t have scored well but the detectability
