Ok, maybe I am naive. So enlighten me. Who is influencing the CDC to recommend an unsafe schedule? What are their motivations for doing so?

It’s fine that you don’t think he won. Everyone is going to have different ideas of what Kaepernick winning looks like. I personally think you’re setting the bar unreasonably high. No matter what the protest is, I don’t think sportscasters are going to get into the details of something like the wealth gap on air. Even…
Ok, maybe Hamilton shouldn’t be compared to an average person. But it you look at those tweets, an average person wouldn’t know what many of those terms mean. Therefore those terms are jargon. The conversation may be totally normal, but because it’s full of jargon a person not involved in finance probably wouldn’t…
He said he had prepared all week to refine his Countdown takes in a way that would be thoughtful, but not give in to the “politically correct police.”
If the average person has to google the terms in order to understand what they mean, then that is the definition of jargon.
“No conversation about the issues has been started that wasn’t already going on”
A handful of spitting events probably did happen. But the popular narrative that many/most veterans were shamed and spit on by the public is a myth.
Trump defiantly has authoritarian tendencies. His plan to change libel laws to make it easier to sue journalists would be a major attack on the first amendment. And it would be a very effective way for him to science dissenting media if he were elected.
You didn’t answer my second question.
What would be the CDC’s motivation for recommending an unsafe schedule? Why do you think that Dr. Sears is able to come up with a better schedule than the huge teams of specialists who work for the CDC?
And neither W or Trump drink!
If you didn’t know what Aleppo referred to, you are not that well read. It has constantly been in the news over the past year.
You said this about white supremacists: “Now they are just a bunch of yokels who talk a big talk but are too scared to actually gather up a lynch mob or build a giant cross to burn.” I provided evidence that evidence that they are responsible for many murders and acts of violence. Do you still stand by that claim?
You have no idea what you’re talking about. White supremacists are terrorists. From 2012 to 2015 nearly twice as many people have been killed in the United States by white supremacists and anti-government radicals than by Muslim jihadis.
People lie about reading books for the same reasons that motivated you to write that comment.
Probably. But hold on to it. The way things are going the time should be right in a week or two.
I agree. A lot more money and effort should go into making sure voting is accessible and an easy process for everyone.
Election day should definitely be some sort of federal holiday. And I like the automatic registration idea. But online voting is a terrible idea. It’s vulnerable to glitches and hacking. There would be no definitive traceability. Most importantly it would cause way too much damage to the public’s faith in the results.
