I think I speak for all Californians, especially CA natives whose families have been here for many generations, when I say you may kindly go fuck yourself. :)

Holy shit @ that letter.
That’s a big fat pile of not-well-thought-out responses.
Then be just like me, and have both! ;)
(power) Sliding Rear Doors - enough said really.
It means nothing about the engine other than it’s the cross-platform V6 3.6L used by FCA these days. It’s a name.
Good news! The Ody has great residual value, which will be handy when you sell it to the next greater fool with Honduh blinders on. Seriously though, it will be interesting to see what the reviews say about how this rides and drives. It certainly looks good.
We cross-shopped the (used) 14 Ody, Sienna, Quest, and T&C. We bought the T&C. Neither the Honda or the Yota offered enough to justify the premium over the T&C. We are 1.5 years in and no complaints. We’ve had to change the oil and I opted for better tires.
Needless to say, I am definitely interested to see what FCA is…
The V60 (CPO or CarMax/DeMuro) is definitely on my radar as a JSW replacement if the buyback monster comes-a-knockin.
My brother has a ‘15 S60 T5 AWD Premier Plus with a Polestar tune and it is an excellent balance of speed and economy. Drove a T6 version a couple years ago and that was pretty dope too. Just a great…
Bought this as a Xmas gift for my sister for $28. This is a steal at $16, and yeah, I’m gonna get me a price adjustment!

This will be the case for all vehicles where there is a fix. They will not pass smog without the fix applied*, therefore: no registration. We are every other year for diesels so it won’t take long for that to catch up.
Similar to what @gtaylor0 just wrote, I know of tons of people with the same experience as I’ve had. Between family, friends, and co-workers there have been several dozen modern VW’s (in all flavors) owned with likely a combined mileage well over 1mm.
1st gear: I have no idea what we will do. My 11 JSW is likely in the buyback group. But I love that damn car. My wife really wants a new Outback, I was actually looking forward to the GSW Allroad/4motion that was hopefully coming soon (not now, I’m sure). On top of that, I really wasn’t ready to buy a new car.
That’s funny. In the hundreds of thousands of miles I’ve put on my VeeDubs, I’ve had only a handful of trips to the dealer. Trips were only for routine maintenance. And once for a weird clicking noise coming from my seatbelt tensioner (which they promptly fixed under warranty).
Yeah the last thing I want is for my TV to receive a fuzzy 1 or 0. That would suck.

I grabbed the AppleTV last Saturday at the Crack for $99 on sale. Could.not.pass.that.up.

Shit yea that Aveo can handle a 50 cal gun turret! ALLU AKBAR!
I’d add Avis to that list. They buy more upscale versions of the cars, and they are very good about the maintenance. Source: my brother was one of the managers of a very busy airport lot near here (and basically did not own his own car while he worked there).
That’s for the toner Shep. The drum is way more - $78 from Amazon.

I migrated from Win7pro and did not have to reinstall anything.
