I’ve done it, but really I’ve just found that having status in their system and being courteous goes plenty far enough. Hell, I just stayed at the Chicago Hilton for 4 nights, and all I did was ask nicely for a room upgrade - and I got a lakeview corner room overlooking Grant Park.

The Dorco blades I was referencing are their cartridges. DSC (Dollar Shave Club) uses Dorco as their supplier, but you can also buy them direct. Either way you get them they are far cheaper than their Gillette/Schick cartridge counterparts and give you an equivalent (if not better) shave.

I hear you brother. With the children come priorities. One of those priorities is not my perfect shave. Thank goodness for DSC/Dorco for keeping the price reasonable so I can have a decent shave for slightly less than an arm and a leg.

I have to shave every single day if I want to be stubble-free. Doesn’t matter if I use my Dollar Shave 4x, or if I use my Weber with my preferred Gillette Black blades.

They are still sold as Lego Classic.

I have bought several different types of Lego sets for my now 4.5yo son. We started him with Duplo sets, whic were assembled according to instructions once, then left to his imagination after. We later moved on to Juniors and City sets, which we constructed once are and have left assembled. And finally, we have

2 years and counting here. About to replace my floor mat for the first time, but other than that, it’s been nothing short of fantastic. Back pain is gone, and it is probably why my weight has been stable despite not changing my diet or exercise.

Compression or GTFO for me.

Our GE Cafe dishwasher has a separator built into the silverware caddy. So we go handle down (except for knives), and group according to type for easy unloading. Have not had any problems since we installed this dishwasher.

My stepdad had a 94 hatch. He bought it for a couple hundred bucks because the motor was blown, so he put a new one in, along with A/C. I borrowed it for a couple weeks once when my truck was getting a heart transplant.

While that truck is hideous, Rangers in general were great trucks. And I’ve driven them all. Rangers/MazB’s were the best of the bunch. The last of the (US) mini trucks... *sigh*

I came here to say this. The SportWag has as much if not more space than many CUVs. The one dimension that really works for me (and a gazillion other families like mine) is the boot length from door to the seat. I can slide my strollers straight in. In most CUVs I’ve experienced this is not the case - the stroller has

A good buddy of mine used his stock MiniCoop to tow his SeaDoo. GTX (the big 3 seater). Worked just fine. The only impediment here would be the safe mounting of a hitch.

Exactly which part of his dignity should he be worried about?

I tell this to everyone who will listen. I’m pretty sure not one of them actually do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found ceiling fans off in my home when guests were over in the winter/fall/spring.

Nice! My brother has a Baby Q and he loves it. They were apartment dwellers for a long time and the size of the Q was perfect for that.

Agreed! We bought one of these along with an iPad Air for my father as a gift last year. It’s been fantastic for him, even though he is a bull in a china shop most of the time.

I’ve heard of folks using these in RVs. We just use an inline filter in the RV anyhow, and we never drink the water from the tap (only used for shower/toilet/dishes). Something about using water via a hose bib weirds me out, even though it is probably 100% safe to do.

I started with the Advance filter but quickly

Not that I want to show my age, but the timeframe I was talking about was 93-95.
