This would likely not qualify this round, it is not an 'original tune'. It is called Le Parc and is on the album of the same name by Tangerine Dream.

This was harder than I thought, but in the end, I picked the four that I have on the various mp3 laden discs I have in the truck. Really hope the Airwolf Theme and the StreetHawk Theme (by Tangerine Dream) make it in later. I know I am in trouble when we hit the movie themes...

"The original "Clue" movie, with Christopher Lloyd and Tim Curry, is a much beloved comedy. The ending(s) are just wonderful... probably a guilty pleasure movie."

Once again, invalid. Sleepless in Seattle came out in the summer of '93, AFTER Super Mario Brothers, so it would not have been a factor in the decision to hire or pass on Hanks.

Uhm... yeah, silly me. What was I thinking, not listing a box office bomb as a hit? Next thing you know, you will be whipping out The Bonfire of the Vanities... or better yet, The 'Burbs. Hanks himself has referred to these three films as "bum tickers'.

Once again, Tom Hank was not the star of ALoTO. He was a supporting actor. It was a hit movie that he just happened to have some scenes in. As for the rest, well received is not the same as successful. And what Bob Hoskins did before is not the issue. Like another commenter mentions, the film would have been cast

He was only a supporting character in ALoTO, and it had been five years since he had done Big. Before Philadelphia/Forrest Gump, he was just that guy remembered mostly from that tv show (Bosom Buddies) were he and his roommate dressed as women. Today Tom Hanks is pure money, but before 1993 his success rate was not

Or you keep a can of aerosol / foaming wasp spray handy and you fuck their day up! :-)

SMBs was round '93, that was pre-Gump. At the time, Tom Hanks was just a guy, his biggest hit was considered either Big or Turner & Hooch, and both were a few years old. It would not be until 94 (Gump) that Hanks became a bankable name. He followed Gump with Apollo 13, Toy Story, and every other big film folks

This reminds me of a time when I was working Taco Bell and the woman in the drive thru asked me to read back her order. I did a total of six times, and the first five time she asked me to repeat it 'cause she couldn't understand it. On the six time, I, being a 16 year old smart ass, (and my manager being a 21 year

Thanks. i was actually really disappointed I didn't get more in. The DC ones were easy, as they are all year(s) long events. the Marvel ones were a bit harder, as they roll from one to the next with the seperate X-Verse ones, the Hulk-verse ones, the cosmic Marvel ones, the Main MU wide ones, etc.

Legal issues, the times have changed, etc.

That's all we need... Final Crisis of the 52 Civil Wars of Planet Hulk. It all started in the Blackest Night, when Fear Itself took hold of the populace and the House Of M launch a Secret Invansion and the nation of Amazon Attacks back. This became a Flashpoint, and a Dark Reign falls over the world as governments

I suspect not. Rambler was always more of a marquee than a specific model. Most folks who own them don't own a 'Rambler', they own a 'Rambler Deliveryman' or 'Rambler Country Club', etc. The cars that did make the list, their name alone exists as a template for the general consciousness. You say Mustang, and

To me they serve to different demographics. Maybe a little generalized but...

Around here, the 'A' word will likely result in a tirade. We are close enough to Libby, MT that folks know someone from there and most folks come to town for medical treatment related to asbestosis. My brother in-law was from Libby and I remember that he had a lot of testing done as part of the lawsuit related to

I think that one reason that it continues to be brought up is that while it is 'common knowledge' among 'car people' it is not as well know outside car/VW people. Volkswagen themselves don't help it by acting like it is some dirty secret.

the 'VR Devil' shows was called Deadly Games, and I only remember that cause it featured Cynthia Gibb (aka Sandy from Short Curcuit 2 [*sighs* Sandy...])

I remember when UPN launched... We had a satellite dish, back when a 'dish' was 15-25 feet in diameter, and I was the only kid in school who got UPN. I made what to a sixteen year old was a tidy sum renting out Voyager episodes on VHS to all the Trekkies. There were some interesting shows that first year.
