Capt. Spock!? Best part of the trailer. But I might have to check this out. Not a huge ST fan, a SW guy here, but looks interesting.

I know that Amazon and iTunes have Spartacus on a per episode basis, but only Season 1. Nothing I saw for season 2. So I don't know how soon it would be before it Torchwood would be there. If you have Netflix, not Starz shows are on Netflix, so that might be a possibility.
Only a handful of pic exist, and it appears it was a coupe. It is possible, but highly unlikely, they re-purposed the removable hardtop from a 95 Cobra.
I wasn't quotin' the movie when I posted. I just got back from seeing it and was amused that Mater had the same response I did.
this was true of all VWs from 1938 until 1974. With the Type 2 using them until 1984 and the Type 1 until 2003. And Porsche 911s used air-cooled engines until the 996 in premiered in 1997.
Most people will tell you Ford only produced standard (non R spec) Mustang Cobras in '93-99, 01, 03-04, . It is sorta well know that in 2002, there were 100 Cobras built, all RHD with different front fascia exported to Australia. However, most don't know that there was in fact at least one 2000 Mustang Cobra built.…
I know it is the firing order for a Chevy V8, but not really sure if it is all Chevy, or particular engine.
Has it really been TWENTY years? Geez. I remember seeing this in the theater opening weekend. It is easily my favorite 'comic book movie'. Really should pick up the collected story in hardcover...
I thought the same for 33, but his symbol looks nothing like that. (actual symbol in attached image)
Just Realized 44 is the TMNTs

Here is what I got
More likely BMW, as the VW factory was used to produce the various KdF war-era vehicles. The VW Type 1 really didn't take off until after the war when the Brits took over the factory and resumed production.
I plan to catch the film tomorrow, so I will keep an eye out for this. If you invoke Edsel Jesus, the least you could do is put a pic of him up, it ain't like with Muhonda.
One thing that the video above doesn't show is that another reason it is called a 'waterphone' besides being made by a guy named Waters, is that the handle is filled with water. The amount of water affects the sounds and is used to create the effect you hear when the unit is 'swirled' around.
Yep. They also use a theremin as well. But being a 'space' rock band, it makes sense.
I thought it was funny that Sheldon claimed his love of the theremin came from hearing the original Star Trek theme. The theremin is not used in the theme for ST:TOS
The ProgRock band Hawkwind uses one regularly
