I always saw Rogue in the Kitty role in the films. As for Jubilee, she gets to be an X-Woman, demoted to the minors, loses her powers, joins a super team only to have it disband and finally gets turned into a vampire. I think the x-editors are secret Jubilee haters.

I think the problem is that the world of the Sothern Vampire Mysteries has gotten too big and idea's are introduced and either left to simmer or play out rather mildly. For example, the cluviel dor, the elf, and what ever is up with Mr. Cataliades is obviously there for something down the road.
