Totally. Then I somethings get pissed (for a whole second) when I see how much some of them go for used. I don't know how many thousands of dollars in toys I held onto for years that she forced me to yard sale. But then again, how could she have know, and at least I had them to play with, knew plenty of kids

I just realized, I owe my parents a HUGE!!! thank you. There is not a figure, vehicle, or playset on those posters that I didn't own. I never realized it until now, but I may have owned every He-Man figure from the original (pre-reboot) series.

Not all cars are female... Jubilee (my Mustang is), but Pumbaa was definitely male (Explorer) and the Ranger is intersexual. My roommate has had two male cars and one female. My parents have had four males and three female cars...

Very true. While not exclusively so, Art Nouveau, is more an architectural and design style than an art style. Many Art Nouveau artists can just as easily be classified as Impressionist or Symbolists. Not saying that they shouldn't be classified as Art Nouveau, just that with things like furniture or buildings, it

No, it is directed at nerds/geek, so it should try to include more than the basics...

That was absolutely worthless. I own 90% of them on DVD and the ones I don't are have all been seen already.

Only thought I have is Snoqualmie + winter weather = not fun! Snoqualmie Pass gets around 400+ inches of snow a year. (aka 35+ FEET!)

As an employee of a music store, I feel I should point out that Record Store Day, while full of cool stuff for audiophiles, is not as store friendly an event as FCBD. Nore does it draw in the crowds like FCBD. While almost any locally owned music store can participate, the event is focused on vinyl, so you have

Sadly my LCS doesn't open until 11am, just when I have to be to work. Went at lunch, but by then the place had been picked clean. My shop goes all out, having the rock station there, free food, grab bags, $0.25 back issues, clearance RPG material, and prizes. Did manage to snag the Dark Horse Cal McDonald story, so

No, it makes him an ass...

but... how do their massive fingers find a keyboard big enough to set the interwebs aflame?

I went with Super 8, simply because it is the one that I know the least about. Sure, it has Spielberg & Abrams, but films that try to be 'secretive' about the story tend to be a mixed bag. I just get the feeling this will not be one of the ones that does well and so I am putting my vote with Super 8.

Shut your mouth, you damn dirty human! :-)

Just want to point out that there are several 'prequels' as well. Into Pitch Black, a SciFi Channel special that is done in a investigative documentary style that is only available on R2 versions of the Pitch Black DVD. There is a flash video called Slam City. And the games Escape From Butcher Bay and Assault on

"Things don't exist simply because you believe in them, thus sayeth the almighty creature in the sky!"

I think he was looking more for the 1st appearance of Boba Fett.

I started watching DW because it was on NetFlix. I started with "Rose' and worked my way through all the episodes and was all caught up for the start of season six thanks to a friends who had season 5 on DVD. And while it is not 'scary', I have found the last two episodes to be a bit subpar. Not sure what the
