Is it possible to defend Mr. Maviglio here without being banned? All these one-sided comment sections are so dreary. A vibrant commentariat ought to welcome pragmatic moderate commenters who are willing to argue on behalf of Mr Maviglio, who is, after all, squarely within the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

10 minute chunks are really meant for people to watch while commuting, eating lunch or taking a break at work, etc. Meanwhile I know I’ve used the last couple of months to watch multiple seasons of things I didn’t get to in real time.

Also, I’m not sure I’d call the wig-shitting threat a *micro*aggression. It seems pretty dang aggressive.

Shit in her wig? ... what a weird threat to make.

I’d like to see every single “information wants to be free” asswipe have their bank accounts drained, credit cards maxed out and homes ransacked by someone who has similar disregard for them. Just look at what this bullshit mentality did to music.

People will jump through a lot of hoops if they can pay zero dollars for something.

So many of the contestants now also travel from across the world to come to the U.S., despite maybe having their own national _____’s got talent show. It’s sort of become a show of acts from around the world performing to non-American judges, which is ridiculously ironic to me, given the name.

I’d argue that if a show like SNL let it air to begin with, that kinda proves that it was a different era where it was more accepted.

I think in practice random celebrities tweeting “hey I did this really offensive thing in 1999, but I’m so sorry now” would come across as unbearably performative. Like they just want attention and pats on the back for being woke, and they think that now they’ve fessed up they’re immune to criticism.

You could say this about lot of groups, not just Whites. How many black comics have homophobic or misogynistic material?

Yeah - I find it hard to believe.  Kind of like when people say your hair stops producing oil if you stop washing it.  Meh.

YUPPP.

Are you sure you stopped stinking or that in 2-3 weeks, you just got used to your stank?

She got paid $275k for mere instagram posts. I think she should pay it all back, not just $90k.

They’ve been together since she was 18 - they met and started dating in 2004 when he was 30. They dated for 6 years before marrying for 10 more.
