Re: Sophie Turner
The people who have COVID-19 in Michigan are mostly people in Detroit, and I can guarantee they’re not Trump voters, nor haters of minorities.
I don’t think they’re good people, nor do I think they’re good at business. I in fact think they’re pretty terrible people. My issue isn’t with criticizing the Kardashians.
I’ve been a commenter here for over ten years, used to go by AlannaofTrebond, I’m not the tomato troll guy. I certainly don’t know you personally, nor did I attack you personally. I complained about your comments, that you post, you know, publicly.
LOL LOL LOL Jez hasn’t been feminist website in forever.
Boy, I do love how you make it your personal mission to say sexist things about the Kardashians on this feminist site. It’s one of the constants in life: Jezebel posts an article on the Kardashians: GELLA-LLAP will be there to call Kim a sex doll.
It isn’t, though. I have spent the last year realizing that social media makes me feel briefly connected as I interact, but then I often feel more alone afterwards. I have been steadily working to get offline and to start actually talking to my people, only for this virus to hit and force me back to the loneliness of…
Based on my experience living in New England, being in a state adjacent to her home state may have been more hurtful than helpful to her- eeeeverybody hates MA it seems, and in particular “smug Boston politicians”. She might do much better away from the NE rivalries.
Well, what’s bad about it exactly? If a person has lived a long and fulfilling life, what’s not good about them peacefully exiting existence? Sounds beautiful to me.
The option of death makes the living feel more meaningful. It’s an active choice you’re making. The choice and the possibility of finality gives the endless life of joy purpose and thus helps with the sense of ennui.
The point is, death isn’t a scary or bad thing.
I mean, surely those nifty green doors could provide that experience if you so choose.
but a voluntary memory wipe seems better than choosing death
I genuinely believe my tolerance for cold was higher when I was younger and thus think the teens “under dressed” for cold feel fine and comfy as they are, and adults need to stop projecting discomfort onto them.
I mean 50 degrees and up is absolutely 100% shorts weather, and 40 is variable (if no windchill + sunny then it can be pretty warm).
Ya know, as a woman who is always very comfortable in cold weather and is extremely over being told by people to put more clothes on because whatever I’m wearing isn’t “warm enough” (even though I feel perfectly warm in it) I’m going to go ahead and say: let the boys wear their shorts in winter if they want to. Let…
I mean, I hear weird shit all the time that I just dismiss. If you’re at all HOH this is everyday. Not sure that grandma deserves the scorn.
Yeah, why are jeans so popular?? They’re not universally flattering, they’re often not particularly comfortable, most of them are not particularly durable (because I’m too broke to buy good jeans). And yet they’re like the only pants option we have unless you want to be Fancy or Extra. How have they become so…
Merrit Weaver was the only compelling part of Godless, and every time she was on screen I felt a deep yearning for a different version of the show where she was the main character.
Ooooh, exciting! I shall search for the news, unless you have a link handy?
